The Cincinnati Networking Professionals' Association (CiNPA) is dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the art and science of Computer Networking and Information Technology in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area. CiNPA members are computer networking practitioners of various backgrounds, experience and knowledge levels, and technical interests who are united in our strong commitment to improving the profession of computer networking and our own skills and practices within the field.
CiNPA meetings are the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Cincinnati State Technical and Community College'sWorkforce Development Center. (Enter the building at the awning on the south side, off of the parking lot. You'll enter between the Auditorium and the Cafeteria, at the check-in table.) CiNPA members attend for free; otherwise, admission is $5 at the door. Please join us for presentations, people networking, refreshments, door prizes, and opportunities for involvement. The past year has brought a lot of changes at CiNPA. Most were not visible directly, and some you will be able to experience in the near future. Part of the changes involved two major items - as of December 1, 2004, CiNPA became a 501(c)3 organization. This will allow us to do more community service as a group, accept funds to defray operations costs, and afford us more benefits to us that we didn't have available before. The second major item is CiNPA becoming part of Culminis. CiNPA is also an MSDN user group and is registered with Microsoft's Mindshare program. We are actively seeking similar alliances with other organizations as well. If you come across any, let any officer in the group know, or email all of us at Cinpa-Officers@GoogleGroups.com and we'll research it.
